1.Elevator failure response method

When the elevator fails, the power supply of the elevator should be cut off first. In order to make the elevator run again as soon as possible, the elevator administrator should report the fault situation to the professional maintenance personnel in a timely and detailed manner.

2.Simple fault diagnosis method

Administrators can troubleshoot some simple failures.

1.When the elevator door cannot be closed, check whether the setting position of the switch in the switch box is normal.

2.When the elevator door cannot be completely closed, check whether there is any fault in the threshold groove.

3.Check whether the elevator is artificially obstructed, such as debris preventing the door from closing, the safety touch panel of the car door being forcibly moved, etc.

3. When passengers are locked in the car

1.Call the maintenance staff. The administrator should do his best to relieve the passenger's nervousness; talk to the passenger on the phone until the maintenance personnel arrive at the scene; tell the passenger that it is safe in the car and do not try to escape from the car on their own.

2.Do not try to forcefully release passengers.

3.If there are trained elevator management personnel, the trapped passengers will be rescued according to the "Trapped Person Rescue Law" under the condition of ensuring safety.

4.Beware of Accidents

1.During a power outage. Tell the passengers the actual situation of the power outage, and advise them not to try to escape from the car (the auxiliary lighting in the car will automatically illuminate).

2.In the event of a flood. The elevator should be deactivated and action should be taken to stop the flow of water into the elevator. Before the elevator runs again, contact the elevator maintenance personnel for inspection.

3.When a fire occurs. Direct all passengers to leave the elevator to a safe place. After confirming that there is no one in the car, turn off the power switch of the elevator. In the event of a fire, except for firefighters performing rescue tasks, other personnel are not allowed to use the elevator to escape.

5.Rescue method for trapped persons

When the elevator fails, the elevator maintenance department should be notified in time. Before the arrival of professional maintenance personnel, trained elevator management rescue personnel, as needed, follow the steps below to release trapped passengers.

1.Confirm the car position of the faulty elevator. When rescuing trapped passengers, you must first ensure your own safety, and confirm the position of the car by the control cabinet in the machine room or the car position indicator outside the hall. (However, in the event of a power failure, the car position indicator cannot indicate the car position. To confirm the car position, use the special key to carefully open the hall door, and then use the flashlight to confirm the car position in the hoistway.)

2.Confirm the power cut off. When carrying out rescue, in order to prevent the car from moving suddenly and causing a dangerous accident, the main power supply of the elevator machine room should be cut off first.

3.On the floor where the car is located, use the special hall door key to open the hall door carefully to check whether the height difference between the car floor and the floor is within 0.5 meters.

4.When the car is parked close to the hall door, and is not more than 0.5 meters above or below the floor. First use the special hall door key to open the hall door, then manually open the car door on the top of the car, and assist the passengers to leave the car, and finally close the door again.
